Application Support Analyst
We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to work as part of our Application Support Team. You will be working closely with developers, Infrastructure and DBAs. The role is to support our world class in-house trading system used by our investment team along with other third-party trading applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the administration, monitoring, and maintenance of software applications
- Ensure trading systems are performing as intended through series of system checks
- Respond to issues raised by investment or middle office teams
- Perform QA testing for new functionality
- Liaise with external brokers/vendors on order flow issues
- Develop relationships with business community and market data providers
- Prioritize issues raised and resolve them accordingly
DESIRABLE CANDIDATES:
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT related discipline
- 5-8 years’ experience working in a production support function
- Understanding of one or more global market asset classes
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with an ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with various stakeholders across various teams
- Technical skill set required, preferably Python, QA, cloud, and exposure to trading systems [EMSX, Flextrade, or similar EMS systems]
- Knowledge of FIX, Linux and SQL Server is essential
- Experience with Azure Devops, GIT, ServiceNow, Kibana
