We’re excited to feature Justine Brennan, whose journey to Associate Portfolio Manager on the US Convertible Arbitrage Team underscores Capstone’s commitment to empowering individuals to shape their professional journeys.

Joining Capstone in 2021, Justine transitioned from her role as a Convertible Bonds Trader at Barclays, bringing with her a robust foundation in financial markets. Beginning as a trader, she swiftly embraced expanded responsibilities and now oversees investments across multiple industry verticals. Her journey exemplifies our unique culture, which emphasizes collaboration both within and beyond team boundaries.

Justine is enthusiastic about empowering and connecting women in finance. Formerly the co-president of the junior women’s network at Barclays, Justine is an active member of CapNOW (Capstone’s Women’s Network). In 2023, she connected the two networks and helped plan a collaborative event.

Reflecting on her career, Justine shares, “Capstone has provided a platform where I’ve been able to continuously grow and take on new challenges. It’s a place where preparation meets opportunity, and I believe in pushing myself to be ready for whatever comes next.”

Originally from Orchard Park, NY, Justine is a devoted Buffalo Bills fan. Beyond her corporate achievements, she finds joy in playing golf and tennis, pursuits that mirror her drive and determination. As she looks to the future, Justine aims to further her growth within Capstone, ready to embrace additional responsibilities and continue making a significant impact.
