Sean Huba

Chief Technology Officer

Sean Huba is Capstone’s Chief Technology Officer, responsible for application development and support across investment and operational groups. Sean enjoys working at Capstone because he gets to shape and build the technology platform to give the firm an edge and make technology congruent with firm performance.

Sean joined Capstone in 2018 with over 25 years of technology and risk management experience in the financial services industry, 12 of which were with hedge funds. Previously, Sean served as Chief Information Officer at Hutchin Hill Capital, a multi-strategy hedge fund. Prior to that, he focused on developing and implementing trade processing platforms and multi-strategy information infrastructures for both FrontPoint Partners and Caxton Associates. He began his career at Dresdner Bank and Solomon Brothers in Frankfurt and went on to spend eight years building a consulting business that focused on risk technology and the integration of cross-asset information.

Sean received a B.A. degree in Math and Physics from Susquehanna University.
