This role will be a critical member of the Capstone Core Technology Team, which is focused on enhancing and supporting our trading platform. This drives straight through processing for trades, settlement, and reconciliation.

This position will provide key assistance to the Operations, Treasury, and Middle Office teams, and have exposure to the many aspects of a hedge fund. You will be expected to be a great communicator, strong team player, and open-minded collaborator to bring innovative ideas to life.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing first-line support for Middle Office, Operations and Treasury functions in London, New York and Hong Kong
• Creating and then executing an enhancement pipeline for back-end systems through collaboration with key stakeholders
• Be a part of a firm-wide, high visibility initiative to increase automation and remove manual processes
• Build-out of the firm’s margin framework, trade settlement and reconciliation processes
• Other ad-hoc projects with portfolio finance, treasury, FX, and repo trading 

DESIRABLE CANDIDATES:

• Advanced SQL skills including creating stored procedures, interpreting execution plans, and query optimization
• 3+ years of experience in any object-oriented language (C#, Java preferred)
• Experience developing in Python preferred
• A collaborative and highly motivated team player with strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• A demonstrated interest in the finance industry
