Network Engineer
We’re looking for a motivated and bright network administrator to play a critical role in building a robust and world-class technology infrastructure environment. Given the growth around the firm, there’s plenty of opportunity to make an impact. We’re looking for someone who has depth of technical skills, someone who’s comfortable in a fast-paced environment and has great communication skills for those instances when interacting with end users.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support to global users in a fast-paced trading environment
- Provide level 1 and 2 network administration of global network
- Perform circuit management and WAN Optimization
- Troubleshoot network issues between sites
- Remote access set up and troubleshooting using Netskope and Remote Desktop/VPN technology
- Escalate issues as appropriate in a timely manner
DESIRABLE CANDIDATES:
- 5 years’+ experience working as a network administrator for an investment company or service provider
- Knowledge of Linux sysadmin duties
- Knowledge of Cisco switches, routers, and other networking peripherals essential
- Cloud networking with AWS and Azure a plus
- SSL VPN, CASB/Remote Access support experience a plus
- Experience with video conferencing technology
- Experience with Palo Alto firewalls
- Knowledge of Remote Desktop/VPN technology
- Exposure to Microsoft Intune as MDM platform a plus
- General desktop computing experience helpful as this role will occasionally need to provide basic troubleshooting with end users
- Team player with a willingness to learn and strong communication skills
