Responsiblities

  • Strategically plan, develop, and implement a training curriculum for junior and mid-level staff
  • Build training programs and offerings for our graduate and internship programs
  • Evaluate all existing technology tools and platforms and develop training, documentation and user guides
  • Develop and lead firm-wide technical training
  • Construct and deliver bespoke training content and learning experiences
  • Evaluate training platform to enhance offerings
  • Manage SharePoint site of training materials, documentation and thought leadership
  • Work with department heads to identify common skill gaps and areas for improvement
  • Monitor training budget and costs
  • Create and manage program schedules for all trainings
  • Market and advertise training opportunities to encourage a high attendance
  • Monitor training needs to be sure we are compliant with local and federal laws
  • Work with training facilitators and external vendors to make sure programs are launched and run smoothly
  • Develop, track, and report metrics of learning success and overall impact

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-7 years of learning and development and/or HR experience
  • Experience conducting technical training a plus
  • Self-starter, highly motivated with the ability to learn fast and contribute
  • Strong organizational knowledge and understanding of the current gaps within career development
  • Resourceful, flexible and creative
  • Solid group facilitation and project management skills
  • Ability to build rapport with employees and external vendors
  • Excellent written and verbal skills. Should be able to communicate clearly and concisely with employees of all levels
