Junior Front Office Developer





·         Write programs and processes to price and risk manage financial instruments in various assets classes

·         Models will not be developed from scratch but will be implemented in existing financial libraries, some of which are vendor based, others in-house; these programs and processes will be part of the firm’s trading and risk management platform with respect to market data, positions and integration of results

·         Development work on server processes as part of a micro-service infrastructure as well as some work on the portfolio management system’s GUI applications

·         Coding of financial analytics, information integration with market data, positions, messaging protocol and some accessing of databases.

·         The role is part of the firm’s dev team, and within that its front-office support specialists; this sub-team supports a number of trading desks in our NY and LDN offices.

·         Solid programming skills in Java or C#

·         Some working knowledge with SQL databases

·         Ability to communicate efficiently and concisely in writing and verbally

·         Entry level up to 2 years


Optional Skills

·         Degree in Mathematical Finance

·         C++ coding skills
