Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between the Head of Trading and investment staff to ensure appropriate allocation of time and prioritization of business matters
  • Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information for the Head of Trading to facilitate efficient communication and decision making
  • Develop strong understanding of investment team compensation structures and streamline communication and tracking of updates and deal terms including helping with negotiations
  • Pull together and manage project teams that require input from multiple departments throughout the firm
  • Participate in the selection, evaluation and performance measurement process for investment staff
  • Create and maintain documentation for all investment pods related to staffing, performance and compensation discussions
  • Coordinate with other departments including Finance, Legal and HR to ensure alignment and timely resolution of open items
  • Coordinate calendars, maintain meeting notes and track follow-ups
  • Other duties and project as assigned

Desirable Candidates:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, logistics or other relevant area; MBA is a plus
  • 4-7 years of business development or corporate/executive management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills
  • Highly analytical
  • Displays a high level of discretion and strong emotional intelligence
